Adhesion Guidelines for Various Road Surfaces

**Epoxy Resin / Sealed Coated Flooring Advantages: This is the most ideal adhesive surface—flat, non-porous, and sturdy. Note: Ensure the coating itself is free of cracks or peeling. Use mild cleaners during cleaning to avoid damaging the coating's gloss.

**Ceramic Tile / Terrazzo Characteristics: Seams can cause uneven tape application and are prone to cracking at the joint. - Key Steps: - Inspect Seams: Ensure the caulk is intact and free of gaps. - Application Strategy: If seams are excessively wide or uneven, consider using wider tape to span the joint, or opt for spray-applied marking instead.

**Concrete Floor Characteristics: Porous, uneven surface, may contain loose dust.-Key Steps:- Repair: Fill visible cracks and holes with suitable joint filler.- Treat loose dust: Apply concrete primer to seal the surface when necessary, providing a uniform bonding surface to enhance adhesion strength.

**Asphalt Pavement Characteristics: Rough surface, contains oil, softens at high temperatures.-Key Steps:- Ensure Curing: Newly laid asphalt must cure completely for at least 2-4 weeks before application.- Cleaning Method: Use mild soapy water or specialized cleaner.
